Shaquille Ali-Yebuah, a gifted British actor, was born on May 26, 1995, in Hammersmith, London. Shaquille is an actor whose skills have been honed through training at top drama school Identity School of Acting. He studied audition technique, screen acting, text & performance, Stanislavski, Meisner, audiobooks, monologues radio plays & improvisation, and voice. Shaquille excelled in his text & performance course which focusses on understanding, breaking down and analysing a script, this training contributed to his success in securing roles as Shaquille ventured into the expansive Star Wars universe with a role in the 2018 film “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

His early credits encompassed appearances in BBC Radio 4’s comedy “What Does the K Stand For?” and the CBBC series “Dixi.” However, it was his roles in “Casualty,” “You, Me and the Apocalypse,” and the Netflix thriller “iBoy,” alongside Maisie Williams and Rory Kinnear, that propelled him into wider recognition.

Beyond acting, Shaquille exhibits musical prowess, demonstrated by his 2022 single “Distressed,” highlighting his multifaceted artistry. His presence extends to the advertising realm, notably featuring in a Nike ad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, garnering significant traction on YouTube.

In theatre, Shaquille’s performance in the acclaimed play “Wish List” at the Royal Court Theatre, where he embodied the character Luke, underscored his ability to tackle poignant social themes like mental illness and employment challenges.

Recent endeavors include standout roles in Channel 4’s comedy series “I Hate You” and as the face of O2’s television commercials in 2021. Shaquille’s unwavering dedication to his craft and his penchant for embracing diverse roles foreshadow a promising trajectory within the entertainment sphere.
