Jessica Plummer
Congratulations to IDSA alumni Jessica Plummer who will be joining Gugu Mbatha-Raw and David Oyelowo in HBO Max and BBC One’s limited series The Girl Before. It represents one of Jess’s first big roles outside of her work on BBC soap opera EastEnders.
Sarah Fry
Shoutout to IDSA student Sarah Fry for writing and producing the short film Blossom, which has been entered into BAFTA film festivals and has been recognised by the BFI as ‘Outstanding’. The film has also been selected as a semi-finalist for the Indie Short Festival.
Rasaq Kukoyi
Love seeing IDSA alumni Rasaq Kukoyi landing a supporting role in BBC series You Don’t Know Me. Here is what Rasaq said about training at IDSA; “IDSA created a safe space where I could experiment, make mistakes and grow with like-minded individuals who share the same goal of improving their craft.”
Jessie Mei Lin
Jessie Mei Lin stars as Alina Starkov in the upcoming Netflix series Shadow and Bone. Big congratulations! Jessie’s credits include All About Eve and Last Night in Soho.
